UTF-8 Conversion

The whole system has been convert to support UTF-8 encoding to help improve compatibility with external web interfaces.

Alerts

Promotion alerts are now available when an active promotion goes past its end date to help inform the user that it needs to be deactivated.

Select banking date when adding banking

Banking Limit Warning

There is now an option available to set up an amount above which a warning will be shown to indicate that the entered amount is larger than expected. More information on set up and functionality can be found here.

Banking and Change Bag Reference

A Bag Reference has been added to the Banking Collection and Change collection screens, more information can be found here.

Supplier Move Program

The supplier move program has been moved into the supplier screen. This can only be accessed by a support log in. More information can be found here.

Article Search

A new article search screen can be used when in any screen in the back office. This can be used to get information on articles and once open will stay active in the background and can be brought forward again by re-selecting the button on the bottom toolbar. As the search will now return all active articles, a new search term has been added #IncludeInactive. If you know of an inactive article enter it in to the search with #IncludeInactive you will be able to see that article. There is also another column added called Min Stock and will appear beside the Stock column.

Additional Monies

New functionality has been added to allow adding Income and Expenditure from centrally maintained sources. Navigate to Management → Cash Control → and click on the Additional Monies tab, then click the add icon. You will be shown a security check screen - enter your username and password and you will see the screen below:

You will only be able to select descriptions that are in the list, you will not be able to create your own descriptions.

Option to restrict Login to employees

A new setting "Restrict Employee Access by Base Shop" has been added to the Back Office which allows employees to login to the tills and BO if they work in that shop. See here for option.

A new drop down has been added to the employee setup screen, allowing users to select a shop number for new/existing employees. This will default to All if a shop is not selected. A new column “Shop No” has also been added to the employee grid. This new column is only visible via the employee setup on a Head Office.

Remote Pricing

A new process for Remote Pricing is now available via A2I and Tokheim Fuel Controller which sends fuel transaction information up and receives and applies pricing suggestions.

Remote Pricing is now available for Enabler V4 Fuel Controller.

BP Retail Cards

Two New Fuel Retail cards will be automatically added to BP UK fuel sites , these are LOGPAY and DKV-SELECT.

Automatic Linking of an Order to Uploaded Invoice

If a valid Order number is sent in the Invoice file from the wholesaler, then the order quantities will automatically get imported. See Goods Receiving - Linking an Order Via Invoice Upload.

Option to block an article from being added to future orders

Available from 10.5

The Article Maintenance screen can now be used to block an article from being added to future orders. With this option set for an article, it will then not be possible to search for that article via the Goods > Ordering screen or via the HHU.

Report Favourites

When logged in as Support you will now be able to see all report favourites.

Reporting

When e-mailing a report via the Report Scheduler or the Report Viewer, it is now possible to enter a comma-separated list of e-mail addresses.

Export to Sage 50 Accounts

Setup can be done on the Back Office to allow the user to export daily sales and purchase invoices to files which can then be imported into Sage 50. See for details.

Block 02 Barcodes outside of range

AA setting has been added to the Back Office → general tab, "Block 02 Barcodes outside of range 028001 to 028500"   that will restrict any 02 Barcode from being manually created below 028001 or above 028500. 

No Means to Pay and Drive off Blanking Personal Information

Once a No Means to Pay transaction has been recalled and completed the information will set to “Blanked After Payment” by the End Of Day Process.

Batch Line Hold Screen

Three additional fields have been added to the Hold screen for batch lines going on or off promotion. These fields are Cg Code, CG Description and In Stock.

Lodgement Reference Template

Till

BP TAAS and BP Self Checkout

The new BP terminal is supported, there is now a new credit card option of BPTAAS. This also means that BP can be used for self checkout tills.

Texaco Self Checkout

Texaco credit cards can now be used for self checkout tills. See .

Option to block fuel price changes at till

New global till option that can be set via the Back Office. See Fuel Price Change at Till .

Paypoint Payouts

A Back Office can be configured so that Paypoint payouts on all tills occur without displaying the popup screen which ordinarily is displayed (which ordinarily allows the Till operator to pick a reason for a payout):

BP Loyalty with Accounts

When using a BP TAAS system you will now be asked if you want to scan a loyalty card on an accounts tender to copy Cash Payments.

Self checkout voice prompt to wait for credit card

Available From 10.4

New setting to turn on the voice prompt "Please wait for the card transaction to fully complete on the terminal" if the customer selects the credit card tender button. This is set to true by default.

Head Office

Deal Priority

New option when creating or updating a deal at HO to set the deal to have High Priority.  By default all deals have no priority and the deal with the biggest saving for the customer will be applied to the basket but if a deal has High Priority it will be used instead of another deal with a bigger saving. General

EAN Code Length Validation

An option has been added to the back office and head office (general tab, “Block EAN codes over 14 characters”) to block any EAN code from being created via article maintenance over 14 characters. This will be set on by default for all UK stores.

Balance Check fixing difference between article and Commodity Group Tax code

On both the Back Office and Head Office when the Setting to Lockdown Tax Code Update is set to true the EOD balance check will report articles that have a different Tax code to the update server and correct them on the database.

Scales

Label Templates on UC3 Scales

Update Server

You will now be able to view the Team Viewer code for all clients that have contacted the update server on the client information page.
